Loved her in the second season of Hulu’s Nine Perfect Strangers, too. Her character’s arc was so good. I did’5 realize it was her because she’s such a good actress (for what I except of musicians, anyway)

It’s mind-boggling that anyone’s reaction to a situation like this is sympathy for the aggressor, and not the victim. The victim’s an afterthought. The most empathy I ever see from men is commiserating about their accidental violence, like they’re all rescue pitbulls and it’s not their fault.
