1) Tokyo Godmothers. 10/10. Unabashedly a masterpiece by Satoshi Kon who quite frankly is always good at what he does. But a magical realist comedy with a happy ending? Needed it to kick off the year.

1) 100 Bullets: Brother Lono.
10/10. Pretty superb and beautiful sequel to an already brilliant comic starring its biggest monster. Has me pumped for the revival this year.

On the final hardcover for Deadly Class by @remender.bsky.social and @wescraigcomics.bsky.social. Really glad to finally be near the end for Marcus and the gang, but man it is bleakly instructive to the current moment. At least I got some bands I wanna revisit though.

Yeah, this is what I've been saying for awhile now. You don't get the willingness for Trump to go into overdrive, without Biden and friends making it acceptable to crush people for wrong think over their genocide of Palestine.

Finally got around to reading If You Find This, I'm Already Dead by @mattkindt.bsky.social and @danmcdaid.bsky.social. Saving a full review for another day, but it really does live up to the hype. Been reading more of Kindt's work lately and suitably impressed.
