Hope that we have as robust of a democracy that can stand up for itself ala when Bolsonaro tried to pull a similar move.

That said I don't think someone as insanely unpopular has enough juice (or really cognition) left to pull that one off, just push back.

I love how he's Elon Musk's Elon Musk so to speak. The guy who's so insane and mentally addled from presumably young men blood transfusions that he sounds like an Elden Ring character. I'm begging these crazy rich guys to keep sharing their beliefs, best way to keep em out of power.

Reading the Dangerous Habits arc of Hellblazer. And man... even as fresh as he is at this point in his career: Garth Ennis absolutely has the emotional goodies he would become known for. Didn't expect it to be a heartfelt shotgun blast this early though.

The only thing I've really enjoyed about Batman's relentless media omnipresence over the last forty years is his butler being repeatedly retconned into an increasingly stone cold professional killer. Another decade or two and Alfred Pennyworth will be wanted by the ICC for war crimes.

It genuinely is brain breaking that Joe Casey is doing a Post-Crisis style reinterpretation of Youngblood set in Image continuity whilst it gets brought back without him.

Hope his thunder doesn't get stolen in the process cause it is a wonderful book. (That said if history is anything to go by...)

Yep and as we've seen over the last forty odd years, it's basically decimated the actual class base of the Dems. They seem to be fine with being a toothless opposition party as long as their masters pay them I guess.

Unfortunately I don't doubt there's someone who'll argue Newsom needs to become worse than Trump. Plenty of these people would love Trump if he wasn't so crass.
