I've been building around WordPress to create a social network based on RSS. I want to get out of being controlled by billionaire-owned sites. I have a feeling we may need a good backup given where we are now.

Bush at the start of the Iraq war when MSNBC called him a visionary. He looked pretty lost at the time, I remember -- and we all hoped that wasn't true, we hoped he knew what he was doing. That's when we learned he was utterly hopeless as a chief executive and commander in chief.

certainly anything older than the statute of limitations could go.

but they make you delete items 32 at a time, with confirmation.

they want the money obviously.

Screen shot of a blog post that appears on Mastodon thanks to the WordPress/ActivityPub bridge. It feels totally natural, unless someone points it out you probably wouldn't notice.

his campaign promises are definitely dishonest, maybe that isn't the right word -- aspirational, to give it a positive spin.

or it's just bullshit. the ny mayor can't do any of that without a lot other politicians signing on.

the unions are going to have a lot of fun with him.

Working on my slides for WordCamp Canada next week.

I don't think I'll actually use the F-word in the slide. But I it makes me laugh when I see it.

It's funny because it's true. ;-)
