Beyond "Han Shot First." In 2015 I did a bunch of Flash-themed (DC Comics) updates and made a Grandmaster Flash sprite for it. That album cover is the Bob James record with Take Me to the Mardi Gras on it, specifically because of that scene.

I ordered the The Essential Guide to Comic Book Lettering by Nate Piekos a week ago, because I'm going to need it this year, the order was supposed to be that. Then a bunch of Arrow Video discs went on sale and there was one thing I had to get to make up for losing the VHS in 2020.

Feels like someone could insert a clip revealing the killer to be a lost member of the Moondogs tag team and the movie would make just as much sense.

Feels like I'm catching up on my Jada Toys stuff now. Vega was a dollar cheaper than MSRP on Amazon, so I ordered ASAP. Weird, because recent Jada SF and MM have a $5 markup on Amazon, even when it's them and not a 3rd party seller.

First toy the year is this Jada Mega Man that was on sale at Walmart. This, the PS4 Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection (for one of my sisters) and a 4-movie TMNT set was just enough to get free shipping.

When I posted the toy update earlier this month, I said order delays kept a few pics from happening. I was going to take an 80s heroes shot, but the carded Lion-O I got on sale didn't get here until now. Maybe I'll get a fancier version in the future, but it's just good to finally have a Lion-O.

putting together some sprite display clips for this year's Wrap-Up video, and this is one of the few years where I can't beat myself up about what I didn't get done. Not tootin' my own horn, but it's a mess trying to arrange some of these sprites to show.

It's a cool idea, and they were cheap, but then you see the figure using it and some of them are hilarious. I had the ATV, it somehow balanced the "this is cool" with the "ha ha, dat's goofy" just right.

Here's my updated Capcom Punisher lineup in Marvel Legends looks like so far. Kingpin's playing the background because I don't have that white pants build-a-figure version.

Glimmer was supposed to be part of 2024's Christmas/Toy update along with Frost, but I ran out of time then. The 80s cartoon aired on a channel I could barely pull in during the day, and I still haven't seen it, so sorry if these poses don't fit them.

Just added a sprite of Glimmer from the 80s Princess of Power to add some toy representation, along with one new and one updated sprite of Colonel Hawk (his original figure)!
