When articles and documentaries talk about entertainment from pre-80s entertainment, an excuse that comes up a lot for decisions like this is "didn't want to offend The South." And part of it was due to fear of the group that would've been villains in that game.

Some inappropriately creepy golf content - Sente Mini Golf (1986) has DIP switches that add photos of missing children to the attract mode (and to enable a "LOCATED" message per kid). These profiles were replaced with new ones in updated ROMs.

Modern operators seem to leave them on, a lot. 😨

A Reddit post from r/creepygaming by user SuperCamouflageShark - I saw these missing child reports on the attract mode of a Sente Mini-Golf arcade machine recently.

Once the base layer dried, I started stippling increasingly bright shades of green with big, soft makeup brushes.

I keep twisting and turning the brush to get random shapes. I'm focusing the light towards the middle of each panel.

I'll start refining after a couple more layers.

The funny thing is I had no idea there supposedly is a reputation for SNES fans in some corners. This explains why when I brought up Super Punch-Out there was a lot of hushed whispers. Doesn’t justify them following me out to my car and throwing pig’s blood on me tho :(
