If you like late 60s-80s kung-fu movies, you need to watch this. You might recognize the music (I heard it in kung-fu movies first) but you'll figure out the rest as you watch it, I refuse to spoil it for you. Plus, it's just a great movie on its own.
Watching DAY OF ANGER (1967), which I already like quite a lot.
Tonino Valerii is a sure hand, taking his time to build the character of Scott Mary and the (AWFUL) town of Clifton, Arizona, and establishing the contrast of Scott simple minded kindness against the cynical cruelty of the town.
