Watching THE MIGHTY NEIN.
This is glacial slow and none of the characters are interesting to me yet. Animation is nice, an it's got some solid voice casting, but that's about it for me.
I feel like I've seen all of this before.

Xenovember day 24! This was an illustration I did for NECA's "Defiance Xenomorph" based on the praetorian alien from the second issue of the comic.
Also one of those rare times I did the color work, too, using Dan's work in the comic books as a guide...

One of my favorite things about James Gunn is that he will do stuff like this...he'll use his platform to elevate other artists and their work.
He did the same thing for Stephanie William's book about Weirdo DC characters like a year or two ago.

I like the Gene Colan-ness of this stuff.
John Watkiss was a fascinating artist. A talented and expressive illustrator who (I think) found a more fitting home in film storyboards rather than comic books. But, that said, there is always something to marvel at in his strips.

He does not seem to be denying being a racist, just that he didn't direct his racism towards anyone on an individual level...which would still make him a despicable racist.

This seems like a big oversight on DC and Marvel's behalf. Maybe one company should have published Batman/Deadpool and the other one Superman/Spider-Man.
