This arrived yesterday, and I started watching it, so as a fun project, I thought it'd be interesting to do a small review of each episode as I watch them in order, since I've never seen all of them, and never in order!

I still buy comics and (obviously) physical media, but now I feel a sting every time I do...guilty for indulging in something frivolous that makes me HAPPY and keeps me SANE (which is why I swallow that guilt and do it anyways. :P ).

I rarely even eat out any more. I used to treat myself once a week, but now it feels like an insane luxury (and is often priced as such).

...potentially have a little more money for ME (I will still be putting the money that would have gone to my mortgage to my TFSA and RRSP monthly instead), so I can...afford to do stuff and maybe live a little more.

In some ways this is both intelligent and insidious, because it means that the Gnosia are indistinguishable from humans...even to people that knew them before infection, because the changes in their behavior are SLIGHT instead of noticeable (like, say, the Body Snatchers, who become emotionless).
