Mostly posting a pic a day from on or near the edge of the bit that sticks out on the right... been at this for a long time on Twitter and never quite managed to stop there either
I was pleased to find it. Also surprised to find the RC cathedral entirely missing from older maps though I should have been expecting that. I shall ponder how much old city was sacrificed to make room for cars... next time I'm crawling along in two lanes of stuck traffic towards those roundabouts

I'm not alone then and that switchback onto Earlham Road is unnatural. Had a fun half-hour investigating old maps and it makes more sense now though the original road layout must always have been awkward once cars and trams arrived (pic borrowed off a Norwich facebook group)

Lovely pic but also an excellent angle; I'm never entirely comfortable with the road layout here and this makes it easy to see why. Must look out a pre-inner ring road map at some point...

Well that's a potentially useful new hashtag.

I presume he's cynical, slightly weather-beaten, has a difficult home life and is into gardening, bird-watching and vintage tractors and keeps an elderly yacht in a quaint yard on the Broads which he never quite manages to get back in the water
