I’ve been thinking about giving streaming a shot lately, just to see if I’d like it. I think it’d just be streaming fighting games, like ranked sessions or when I’m playing friends outside of VC. My main concern is that I’m pretty thin skinned, and would have no idea what to do if chat gets rude

I’ve started to get overly self conscious about my memory, particularly about the story based games I play. I’ve found myself forgetting a lot of the story beats in my favorite RPGs, even if I’ve played em recently. I’m sure it’s normal but it’s made me want to start writing down what happened in

Recently I took a bit of a break from fighting games. I think I stepped away from just about everything for almost 2 months. Just getting back into it now and everything is feeling fun as hell again. Very excited for Frosty’s and very hungry for games. The things that frustrated me are still there,

Got back from a 10 day trip in Japan last night. I think I told some people I'd post on my bsky throughout the trip but I'm just ass at making posts saying what I'm up to. I think I've just gotta accept that I'm more just about updating people in group chats and saving the rest for my journal

Just ran a beginner bracket for MBTL in a discord with a bunch of random friends I've made in the FGC. It went super well, and we streamed the whole thing, with all of the entrants in discord the whole time just bantering, but I forgot to enable VOD saving on twitch so it's just gone forever 🥲

man seeing corners get cut like this does a good job of surfacing how much effort goes into something that i never appreciated like yeah i guess it must be hard having each possible match up pose and animated for a super but also, its important and fighting games have been doing it for some time now

Out of all my games at Frosty Faustings, highlight this year was definitely my deep losers run for 17th in MBTL. Not bad at all for being off the grind
