@citizenmatt.bsky.social Hey Matt, back when Rider 2024.1 came out, the Unity plugin started recommending against implicit unity object lifetime checks and there was supposed to be a follow up blog post explaining the rationale, did that ever come out?

@thestorygraph.com Minor pet peeve, I typically start reading around 11 before I go to bed and finish up shortly after midnight. I want to track this for the day I started reading which means every night I have to go in and edit the date. Would be nice if it defaulted to the previous day before 2am.

Once again for the people in the back, a story isn't "spoiled" if it's told out of chronological order. The original trilogy doesn't spoil Anakin's heel turn, and The Sunlit Man doesn't contain spoilers for Wind and Truth. They were published in that order for a reason, dawg.

Duolingo seems to use ever so slightly different fonts for their prompt and response text and I've never noticed before. 八 here just looks like ハ in katakana for some reason?

Rare Unity edge case unlocked, if you have a class marked [Serializable] with only parameterized constructors, Unity can still instantiate it, but it just won't assign any of your default member values. That was fun to debug...
