I believe that US democratic reform is both an existential need and is possible - (1) breaking the two-party duopoly/fostering multiple viable parties (2) getting money out of politics; and making the government accountable to the people - not donors.

We are the patriots. Not the ones who fly the flag like its a performance. Actually sticking up for democracy against a would be dictator. MAGA are the anti-Americans. We need to take the flag back. Why can’t we be the flag flying patriots? MAGA should be too ashamed to fly it.

I think the strongest statement would be for every democrat to simply not show up. This demonstrates they are in no way party to it, and that this is not business as usual.
One by one, every Dem should heckle like Green and be proudly thrown out by him.
Not sure why all these Dems showed up tbh. They should have followed @aoc.bsky.social's lead and stayed away.

Elie acknowledged that race exists, that race was a factor in the election, and that Trump has always been a proponent of explicitly racist policies and anyone who voted for him knew that and is accountable for that. In other words, he spoke objective truth, and Fox News couldn't handle it. 🤷♂️
