On the 5th Anniversary of the failed January 6th insurrection attempt, we’re reminded how fragile democracy can be. We must remember the darkness of that day so it’s never repeated. As history is rewritten by some, we choose to speak the truth of what happened.

We cannot forget who was complicit on January 6th.

Ted Cruz fanned the flames of insurrection.

Ken Paxton provoked the rioters before the assault.

John Cornyn refused to investigate the attack.

TDS is the biggest load of gaslighting bullshit I've ever heard.

Trump acts like a tyrant/toddler/fascist/lunatic and it's everyone else with the problem if they don't go along?

Get the fuck out of here with that. It's a tactic that only works if we accept it. HE is fucked up, not us.

People who fancy quoting the Melian Dialogue ("the strong do what they can and the weak suffer what they must") ignore the fact that Thucydides was clearly portraying this as the kind of hubris that squandered Athens' primacy and paved the way for a devastating peer war that it ultimately lost.

Through every hard thing we’ve accomplished, we stood strong together. This run for governor will be no different.

Thank you for this honor, Texas AFT.

This is actually a good example of why the customer model is wrong.

I wouldn't have chosen poetry writing, but UNC made me take a class. And it absolutely made me become a much better writer, with an eye to concision and an ear now trained to the rhythm of words. I'm a better historian as a result.

The reason why so many foreigners pose as MAGA influencers is because the formula is pretty basic. Post:

1. Immigrants cause 90% of our problems.

2. The other 10% are trans people.

3. Trump is the greatest.

4. All Dems are Marxists who hate America.

5. All news is fake.
