😂

Fun fact: the same person, Firelight Hammerquist, designed the logo for Seattle Subway and The Urbanist.

We'd be surprised if it was SDOT. These signs were very likely made by someone working for the Club World Cup who isn't from Seattle.

Yeah, the generic ST logo wouldn't be all that helpful for someone who didn't live here but their way-finding graphics for different modes aren't terrible.

This is correct, we're contacting our lawyers now. ;)

Ha, no worries - you're probably making the same mistake the people who made the sign did.

The logo they used is for Seattle Subway/us. We are a transit advocacy non-profit.

What they probably meant to do was use Sound Transit's logo for Link.

Come on up!

It’s sad that do many Americans chose this, but worth noting that Washington was the only state in the US that shifted left between 2020 and 2024.

In closing: Wasn’t us: Come on down!

Ha, haven’t watched yet but our alerts have be going off on “Seattle Subway” references.

This is a political appointment. There is no legal reason for the Sound Transit Board to not be more transparent, it’s a choice they are making.
