No, you're right; Hochul has been making a lot of compromises. These actions have to be acknowledged. The "all-of-the-above" approach, as she's deemed it, won't get us closer to net zero. But, she's banking it'll pay off for re-election. Thanks for the points.

They don't. They're reveling in the higher prices, but don't even consider that they won’t have anything left to sell, if they continue on this path. Many staples and favorites may disappear.

Don't lose hope🙏 There are still many of us who are fighting to do the right thing. We need you too.

And, the worst part is we already have a raft of solutions—solar, wind, hydropower, geothermal, fusion (upcoming), etc. They're overlooking these for yes, greed. It's always been profit before planet. When you want to cut off life-giving energy, you know you have problems.

Exactly, the policy shifts have derailed us. What we need the most is regaining the House and Senate in the midterms.

Thanks for the graph. The thing is many states aren't doing much of anything. The rollbacks have made it difficult or just given some states an excuse. But, the data are there (still plural ;-)). The country needs to do more.

Yeah, IL only has 80MW of operating battery storage, making it 23rd in the US. But, with adding 3GW yearly, they would be at 37 times '25 operating capacity by 2030. Only CA, TX and AZ would be ahead—at the current pace. It's not enough; but, IL's making progress.

If only that stewardship could be emulated. And, both the Karankawa and Carrizo/Comecrudo Tribes are honoring that tradition by fighting to preserve Donnel Point. Others are trying to erase the history. They can't.

Flanked by a chemical plant and an oil rig construction yard, the site at Donnel Point may be the last of its kind on this stretch of coastline, now occupied by petrochemical industries.

Thanks for that reminder💪 More charging stations should be installed along highways in CO, MI, and WI before the year's out. NEVI-funded stations will begin going up in NY early next year. They're also slated for VA, OR and DE, with national coverage planned by 2027.

I agree, and even with all the rollbacks and cuts, states can take measures—even if smaller than initially planned—to keep the climate-resilience momentum going. New Mexico's Climate Action Plan features over 36 steps to achieve net zero by 2050. We can still get there, despite the obstacles.
