Early in 2024 we made the decision to stop doomscrolling at bedtime and switch to reading. There’s been some great books Children of Time and Lying in Wait spring to mind. None of that kindle nonsense, just good old fashioned paper books. More books next year possibly more challenging.

Winter riding in the #yorkshirewolds quiet lanes that might see a car a day. I did look at the bridleways but they were a slop fest of sinking claggy mud. Beautiful #southdalton #churchporn with its magnificent spire I’d featured photo #cycling #cyclelife #cycleshots #coticbikes #outsideisfree

The problem with Margaret Thatcher is that she was a scumbag who looted the UK for her Neo-Conservative buddies, and she gave some crumbs to cover it up.
