Senate Republicans do not have the votes to pass their bill.

They need to come to the table and negotiate now to reopen the government and bring down healthcare costs.

Let me be clear: backpay for these workers is required under a federal law I wrote with former Senator Cardin — which Trump signed — during the last Trump shutdown.

This is just more fear mongering from a president who wants a blank check for lawlessness. It won't work.

As a small business owner in WA state, Stacya should be able to get health care for herself that doesn't bankrupt her.

I don't know who Republicans are talking to, but they need to WAKE UP.
