I hope other researchers will share their NCAR stories. Their team is unbelievably dedicated and supports so many people with so many different jobs in the U.S. Their data is a key piece of how we know what climate change is and what it's doing.

NSF is about to dismantle NCAR at Russell Vought's direction to protect the fossil fuel industry. It's hard to communicate just how much NCAR does, so let's take a look: I've never worked at NCAR, and I've worked with NCAR researchers once ever. What scientific discoveries has NCAR made possible? 👇

Rob Reiner always seemed like one of the good people; someone who not only made art that touched people, but like the type of person who you'd be richer for having known regardless of his work.

A sad day, especially for those who were lucky enough to know him.

I've read books this year. How many? I don't fucking know- I read them to read them, not so I can crow about how many I read...

Seriously, weird how many people seem to do that.

Listening to an audiobook is not reading a book. You can read with your eyes or with your fingers (Braille)- both of these are active focuses of attention. Audiobook listening is something you can do while you're driving, painting, or other primary focus- it is not the same as reading.
