I picked "Trust" for my bookclub last year because it won the Pulitzer and it was soooooo boring. I genuinely do not understand what anyone liked about it.

I'll put in a good word for "Laziness Does Not Exist" by Dr. Devon Price. It's a great place to start unpacking some of the really harmful assumptions we hold about ourselves.
