Benny! For some reason I did an extensive project about him at school in my mid-teens. It was one of the few things I ever really enjoyed doing at school. (How did we put pictures in projects when we didn't have photocopiers? I can't remember now.)

“Strange Bedfellows” surely has to be a strong contender for Your Party’s new name.

It isn't a disaster for her either. There's the option to not pay until the house is sold and even in 10 years that would only amount to £25,000 - not a huge amount compared to the millions the house is worth. And she'll probably be dead anyway.

A very Trumpian look.

You are welcome fly one on your property, but you already know that.

Also some places have wider pavements/less busy roads. My totally able bodied daughter nearly got killed by a bus by stepping off the kerb with just one foot to pass some people taking up the whole pavement. The bus was so close the pavement! It was just luck she stepped back just as the bus passed.

They shouldn't be put in a position where they even think they need to get out of the way and risk life and limb for a machine. Obviously they shouldn't whether they can or not. As if the disabled or carers of small people haven't got enough to worry about.

Telling an Eritrean that they are being “sent home” is basically a death threat. Some Eritreans deported back to Eritrea don’t even make it past the car park in the Asmara airport

I literally replied to your question 'what is people's actual objection to them' to tell you my objection. I didn't ask for a lecture about luddites - or about how threads work.

Did I ask you to?

Is it not a hazard for someone with poor eyesight/blind? And if it comes face to face with someone with a pushchair/toddler in tow or a wheelchair there is very little room to pass on many paths. Not everyone is nimble enough to hop on and off the pavement like a lot of these people are doing.

What happens when it's faced with someone pushing a pushchair/wheelchair who quite rightly won't move into the road? There isn't room for it to pass.
