In the richest country in the world, no one should wake up hungry, especially a disabled vet. Please, someone, help my friend Crystal. I’d send her something myself but I had to spend over $600 at the vet this week so I just don’t have it. 😥😥😥

Aurora went to the vet yesterday. There are 3 vets who work at this clinic and we got my favorite, the one who helped us through Spudley’s end of life care last year. I’ve never before had a vet that I felt genuinely cares more about my animal than my wallet.

Aurora isn’t improving after the emergency vet trip on Saturday. She’s been on two different antibiotics since and still isn’t eating. My once 13lb cat is skin and bone.
Gonna call her regular vet when they open and get bloodwork done. I’m afraid it’s going to be cancer.

Week 6 of procrastinating finding a place to donate dad’s at-home and portable oxygen compressors. I don’t know what to do with them, and getting rid of them means he’s really gone. It’s easier to just… procrastinate.

Had to take Aurora to the emergency vet. Something going on with her eye; I was afraid it was an ulcer and couldn’t wait. No ulcer luckily. But she has an ear infection that seems to be affecting her eye. Antibiotics and ear drops. Follow up with vet next week. Hopefully she’ll bounce back.

PSA for anyone who uses a space heater- with it getting colder and people getting their space heaters out of the closet, I wanted to remind everyone that space heaters have an AIR INTAKE VENT that gets clogged with dust. Be sure you clean it; a blocked intake vent is a FIRE HAZARD ⚠️ 🔥

I’ve been really missing my dad lately. It’s been a month. He used to randomly text me what he was cooking for dinner and what time it would be ready. I always took it as a joke because there were 300 miles between us. I really wish, just once, I fucking showed up.
