I think it’s time for us as US citizens to take action into our own hands and accept that majority of these politicians are not our saviors. Regardless of their political party.

After six incredible years, my MacBook is being retired from service tonight. I have had a lot of work and fun on this machine over the years despite its issues. Six years is lucky for a MacBook with a butterfly keyboard.

We have an update: the water spill did not hit the computer but the binder protecting it instead. It was condensation in the bag leading to the liquid detection warning. Despite this the computer remains functional for now while we prepare for its retirement.
Just weeks before my MacBook is scheduled to be replaced I experienced a water spill as I placed a coffee mug that was cleaned into the wrong compartment of my backpack that contained my MacBook. Thankfully it wasn’t coffee or hot chocolate but cold water.

The Supreme Court has approved Texas’s heavily Republican-favored map for 2026. That means Prop 50 will now go into effect to counter the Texas redistricting. Virginia is also considering adding new Democratic-leaning seats to push back against Trump’s redistricting efforts in other states.
