Politicians & some media outlets have latched onto a narrative that recent immigrants, especially undocumented, are causing spikes in crime.

Research does not support the view. In fact, immigrants might have less law enforcement contact compared to native-born Americans.

Data does not support claims that the United States is experiencing a surge in crime caused by immigrants.

Show up, create chaos, scare the shit out of the citizens, and when one freaks out and tries to run, shoot her. The death penalty for disobeying ICE.
Then, when you go to court, lie about how "in danger" you felt.
Didn't we just claim we rescued Venezuela from a dictator attacking his own citizens?

AGDQ is a great example of how an organization of some kind can simply choose correctly and chase out stinky transphobes and misogynists and bigots and be 500000% better for it. they raise more money for charity like, every year. excluding bigots = more success

Trump said “Our elections are crooked as hell,” and that’s no shit - who in their right mind would elect a Convicted Felon, Pedophile, Failed businessman, Grifter, Con man and Rapist as you President!
Just ask Elon, South American, silver spoon turd to rig it for you and Heritage found. To approve

She was SO clearly just trying to get away. And if you’re so concerned with being run over (which is bullshit anyway), move out of the fucking way!

Even better, stop fucking killing people.

They just want us poor, sick, or dead.
I am outraged by the horrific killing of a legal observer perpetrated by Donald Trump's ICE agents in South Minneapolis. Video footage shows clearly that this killing was unjustified. I demand a full investigation and this agent must be held accountable. www.npr.org/2026/01/07/n...
ICE agent fatally shoots woman in Minneapolis amid immigration crackdown
The Department of Homeland Security accused the victim of being a "rioter" and that the ICE officer who pulled the trigger was "fearing for his life." Mayor Jacob Frey rejected claims of self-defense.

Anyone notice that Speaker Johnson subtly dismissed Congress today so that they won't be in session on Friday?

Hmmm, anything big set to happen on Friday that might upset people?

CW: medically-induced disordered eating

For the last…6 weeks, I’ve been experiencing upper G.I. symptoms that are painfully impacting my quality of life. I conveyed this to the practice by message and phone call—because I was eating so little. Call back was ~36 hours later. Scheduled with PA.

Grateful for the incredible privilege of making and enjoying delicious food. I have a “gift” for turning anything into something. My favorite of these is the 4th dish, GBC (green bean casserole) shepherd’s pie 🤤

Shocking. Stand the fuck up to these bullies. We all have an important part in the r3v0lution.

Why the HELL are unhoused people being criminalized?! For not having a fucking HOME? And this cruelty hardly scratches the surface of this $administration’s cruelty.
Trump's HUD is preparing to gut federal support for long-term housing programs.

The changes could put 170,000 formerly homeless people at risk of losing their housing — many of whom are disabled or over 50.

The cruelty is endless. www.nytimes.com/2025/11/12/u...

We see only a scratch.
It’s crazy to think about the crimes we’re going to learn about after this regime ends.

We’re already hearing about Watergate level crimes every week. Imagine what will come out after it’s over.

We’re going to need a full accounting of all that’s been done in violation of the constitution.

Clear-eyed and ready to fight. Be hopeful, too. This is how generations have survived—it is how we effect change.
Never forget this: The forces rigging our economy, undermining our democracy, polluting our planet, and stoking hatred are counting on you to give up. Cynicism is how they win. Stay clear-eyed and ready for the fight ahead.

A real human. That’s why we love him. ALSO great for the economy!
For far too many families, the cost of childcare is driving them out of the city they love.

New Yorkers deserve to be able to afford to raise families here.

Oh my fucking god. Make it stop.
This is probably why they’re making everything so unaffordable. Make people desperate enough to sacrifice their humanity.
“I am sure PIs, bounty hunters, process servers, and anyone with access to commercial databases can apply and will..."

This about to get so messy so fast.

We either rev0lt or we’re f*¢k3d.
And another thing. There’s nothing “conservative” about overhauling the entire federal government, which is what Project 2025 mandates. We’re only one (1) year into this nightmare and the Heritage Foundation’s Christian White Nationalist government transformation is already 48% complete.

Sad times.

Imagine making $7.25 an hour—that is, if your privilege included not needing to survive at that wage. What would it take for you to make ends meet? Everyone deserves a living wage, full stop. It’s also an economy boost and better life satisfaction.
Increase in productivity since 1979: 87%

Increase in hourly pay since 1979: 32%

Just so happens that ~25% of workers were unionized in 1979. Today? 10%.

As unions declined, the super-rich have taken a larger share of wealth generated by labor. We must build back union power.
