Was driving my kids to school and the first thing on the radio was reporting about Trump's video depicting the Obamas as apes and I think many people still don't fully appreciate what it means to have to raise Black children in a country where the president is so brazenly and consistently racist

Teamwork makes the dream work! I enjoyed working with so many other @indivisible.org and @progressivemass.bsky.social groups on this candidate forum. @patrickroath.bsky.social answered tough questions and shared his vision for the district. Get to know him, MA-08 voters!
Cold outside but the crowd inside warmed up listening to @patrickroath.bsky.social answer questions about MA-08 race & issues. Hoped to hear from Lynch too. Great collaboration of @indivisible.org & @progressivemass.bsky.social groups across the district.

We officially out-raised our opponent in 2025!

This campaign, for a first-time candidate, raised more money in less time than an incumbent with 24 years of fundraising experience – and we did it 100% from individual donors.

Thank you to everybody who chipped in!

Thank you for standing up for our neighbors!
Extending TPS for Haiti isn't just the moral, humanitarian thing to do—it is also good policy.

With TPS expiring tomorrow, I'm fighting hard to protect our Haitian siblings and ensure they can continue their essential work and contributions to our communities.

Thanks @BostonHerald for publishing Lynch spokesperson Scott Ferson's response to Patrick Roath's challenge. I analyzed what Ferson's statement reveals, and what it carefully avoids defending. (Spoiler: the 25-year voting record.) open.substack.com/pub/sethwill...

My observations on commuting from Chelsea to Braintree via the MBTA. My observations led to some research and some research let to some more observations. Massachusetts can do better. And should.

Something I wrote before Patrick Roath's one-man-show in Boston last week. It was cold. His opponent did not show up, which was a shame. I had some questions on his record, especially about ICE and the Laken Riley Act

Stephen Lynch Voted for Trump’s Detention Bill. Tonight, He Won’t Defend It.
Lynch was the only Massachusetts representative to vote for the Laken Riley Act. One year ago, Trump signed it into law. This weekend, a man was killed by ICE in Minneapolis.

Cannot stand that I am in a district where the person who represents me would thank this organization for anything.
WTAF?

Seventy-five Democrats broke ranks on Monday, joining Republicans in voting for a House resolution condemning antisemitism and expressing "gratitude" for Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and other law enforcement personnel.

It was a commanding performance. Would have been even more commanding if Stephen Lynch had bothered to show up. His indifference to his constituents is duly noted.

"Who are you for?" vs. "What have I delivered?"

That's the rhetorical divide in MA-08's Dem primary. Analyzed @patrickroath.bsky.social's challenger messaging against Stephen Lynch's 18-term incumbency.
