The "cure" for autism is to make the world as accommodating to autistic kids and adults as it is to neurotypical kids and adults.

Feel like I’m going insane with the revisionist history that Charlie Kirk fostered open debate. He chilled speech and his targeting of professors for wrongthink led to threats, harassment, and being forced out of their jobs. His legacy is chilling speech right now, about him

If you have a screenshot of a US politician or leader blaming the left, or declaring some war, or anything before we knew who the shooter was, please post in the comments. We will need to keep these

We had a difference of opinion. He thought I should be put to death by stoning, whereas I didn't want to be killed. Now I'm seeing this being called "a healthy debate."

Unlike him, I don't think he deserved to be killed. But he also doesn't deserve to be eulogized in any manner of positive light.

Interesting how they have left out how several recent reviews have recommended trans care for youth in European countries.

Doesn’t fit their narrative I guess.

New German, Swiss, And Austrian Guidelines Recommend Trans Youth Care, Slam Cass Review
The recommendations, released by the Association of the Scientific Medical Societies in Germany, come at a time when US politicians erroneously claim that Europe is "pulling back" on transgender care.

CBS legal correspondent Jan Crawford is an ignorant transphobe who thought she hid her bias when speaking about today's Supreme Court ruling upholding TN's ban on life saving medical care for trans youth, but her bias was evident.

SF mayor says "we will never tolerate violent and destructive behavior."

Hear that ICE? Violence will not be tolerated!

(You were taking about ICE, right Mayor Lurie? Not the people defending themselves and their families from ICE... RIGHT?)
An important message from @sfgov.sf.gov Mayor Daniel Lurie: “As Mayor, my top priority has always been the safety of everyone in our city. Today, we stand with our immigrant community, Local law enforcement is here to protect all San Franciscans."

The media really doesn't know how - or is just unwilling - to accurately frame a story where it's law enforcement breaking the laws, where it's protesters defending & protecting families, where it's the *govt* & its instruments (ICE) inciting violence & dismantling our institutions in the process.

Before Trump (illegally) calls on the California National Guard to act against Californians, maybe Gov. Newsom should preempt him by mobilizing the National Guard to protect the people of LA from Trump's Gestapo (ICE).

Here is the situation if I’m understanding it correctly:

1. They are deporting lawful immigrants erroneously to prisons overseas

2. They are claiming no recourse to return these individuals

3. They say they are open to deporting citizens in the same way

this administration had no problems fishing andrew tate out of a romanian prison
Either the U.S. government *is* able to exert monetary and diplomatic pressure on El Salvador sufficient to produce Abrego Garcia’s release, or it isn’t.

The latter would be either a bald-faced lie or a pretty stunning concession of our national impotence. The Vice President should pick one.

Federal marshals forced entry into the US African Development Foundation and escorted Musk staffers inside, after agency employees resisted their entry. Once inside, they changed the federal agency’s locks. Musk staffers were seen plugging in an external hard drive and going through everything.

Elon Musk is locking government employees out of government systems and demanding access to the government's entire payment network. This is not legal, of course.

Sorry for stating the obvious. But what I cannot wrap my head around is the way that, for elite politicos, rules and norms are either totally rigid, with any breach constituting a massive scandal, or completely optional, with only nerds caring if they’re followed, depending on if Trump is in charge
The federal government has intense limits on data sharing in order to protect privacy. Sharing IRS tax data to another part of government *requires an act of Congress.*
What constraints are being placed on Musk hoovering up people's personal data?
