Gupta: It is safe. That’s what the best-quality research shows. And how irresponsible, using the podium of the WH to put this out there when you’re not even offering an alternative. That is dangerous. An untreated fever is dangerous. Untreated pain in pregnancy is dangerous.

The free speech activist who built a list of professors he worked to get fired for their speech must be celebrated for his support of free speech, and anyone who quotes his speech accurately in context will be fired and/or face state punishment by the champions of free speech, do I have that right?

Breast cancer diagnoses rose by over 300% between 1973 and 1992.

Was there a breast cancer epidemic?!

NO.

Mammograms were implemented for screening in 1976.

PREVALENCE is a function of being able to correctly diagnose something.

This is also about autism.

206 coffins. A funeral dirge.

AIDS activists marched yesterday on the State Department to protest Marco Rubio and Republicans’ blockade of PEPFAR — a program that’s saved 26 million lives.

Rubio and his allies are now putting millions at risk.

This is the kind of ferocious activism we need. ❤️‍🔥💚💪

Without due process, this could be you. It could be me. It could be any or all of us.

It doesn’t matter who you voted for. Or the color of your skin.

You must understand what is truly at stake here.

All tyranny needs to thrive is for people of good conscience to remain silent.

Even if you (wrongly) believe that some immigrants lack due process rights, what’s to stop the government from claiming that *you* are an undocumented immigrant; removing you to El Salvador; citing an “administrative error”; and refusing to do anything to bring you back?

The answer is due process.

Incredible:

"we show that receiving the zoster vaccine reduced the probability of a new dementia diagnosis . . . by 3.5 percentage points (95% CI = 0.6–7.1, P = 0.019), corresponding to a 20.0% (95% CI = 6.5–33.4) relative reduction"

What a time to have antivax HHS leadership.

Cory Booker has just broken Strom Thurmond's record for longest Senate filibuster ever, which stood for 68 years.

Thurmond set it objecting to the Civil Rights Act of 1957.

Booker set it arguing against authoritarianism.

May Strom's name be forgotten and his memory erased.
