I put down 100$ on a Cybertruck back then. I still don't think they look as bad as some people say, though the safety issues are astounding. Glad I had to cancel when moving back to Canada, for multiple reasons.

All this to say... it's not a general cult any more than Toyotas or Hondas were a cult in the 90s/early 00s. It's a relatively reliable, popular car for people who wanted to go electric.

She's the sort that advertises the things she buys if she likes them, so up until Elon went full Nazi, she would talk the Teslas up. It's a good car, it runs well, the maintenance costs are basically just snow tires, and there's so many places to charge!
