That’s my boss, Andy!
Great piece by @AsYouSow CEO Andrew Behar on changes the SEC is attempting to make, that are part of the consistent pattern of the changes Trump is trying to make across the board.
"Disclosure is not a bureaucratic burden. It is the price of accessing public capital."

Turn this all the way UP.
TORRE: “What’s it like to watch CBS right now?”

CHUNG: “We don’t.”

Where’s the CBS News town hall focused on the Democrats assassinated in Minnesota?
Bari Weiss has a CBS town hall set with Erika Kirk, widow of Charlie Kirk.

If you want to attend, you're asked a series of questions on an online form.

The first question is: “Do you consider yourself a conservative? If so, why?”

These are good moments to remember that the CEOs of all the biggest companies in America are happy to go to White House dinners and slap this guy’s back. They do not care about this. Remember this, years from now, when they want you to forget.
Trump: "It’s a hellhole right now. And those Somalians should be out of here. They've destroyed our country. And all they do is complain, complain, complain. You have her. She’s always talking about the Constitution provides me with – go back to your own country and figure out your constitution."

Walmart and McDonald’s are among the top employers of workers who rely on food stamps.

McDonald's CEO raked in $18.2M last year — over 1,000x the company's median employee pay.

Walmart's CEO pocketed $27.4M — 930x the company's median employee pay.

See the problem?

The fact that Trump is calling Mace and Boebert today pleading with them to remove their names from the Epstein petition at the last minute tells you everything you need to know about how incriminating the info in the files is to him and his cronies.

Man collapses. Commander in Chief leans over but doesn't help. Continues to look around aimlessly.

Meanwhile, MAHA Chief bolts out of the room.

We are led by the best of the best, aren't we?

Sheesh!

@jimmierobinson.bsky.social Maybe you should try something like this with someone?
It's 20 years since @seanphillips.bsky.social and I exchanged a sketchbook back and forth in the mail, a drawn &painted call and response. INTERSECTIONS may be out of print but here is a flip through that sketchbook. You can still find the book out there :)

The president had a MRI but won't say why.

He had bruises on his hands but wouldn't say why.

He just had an 'annual medical' even though he already had his annual medical.

He got shot in the ear but has never released the medical records relating to it.

How is any of this ok?

Suggest everyone save a clip of the White House being demolished and run it constantly while in public. Tell folks to ask anyone near DC to verify with own eyes.

Also save a clip of "The Ballroom is President Trump's top priority right now" and play that.

#breakthrough the news embargo!

Folks need to understand that employers do not give out decent raises because the health INSURANCE industry insists on double-digit raises every year. So your employer factors in a 3% raise for you while they factor in 10-20% increase in your health insurance premiums.

Medicare? 2-3% increases

Democrats should be drawing up legislation right now, this very minute, to bar Trump from helping himself to $230 million in taxpayer funds from DOJ. Challenge Republicans to hold a vote on it. Push this so hard in the media that every GOP Senate and House candidate is pressed to comment on it.

Today is Day 16 of the Republican shutdown. Your regular reminders:

1. Republicans control the White House, Senate and House.

2. GOP making deep cuts to Medicaid, Medicare and ACA.

3. Democrats are fighting to lower costs, cancel the cuts and save healthcare for Americans.
