It's really not that hard. All you have to do is add five minutes for every 300m of elevation gain.

Fictional villains: Society has failed me and now the only way I can save those I love is to break the law. I'm not a monster, but I'll break you to protect those I care about.

Real world villains: I now call this meeting of We Love Sex Crimes to order.

Just write fanfic like a normal person. Then make some light changes and sell it to Netflix.

I do hear you on 'preaching to the choir'! It's a bit self-indulgent. I guess for me, it's a comfort to feel less alone amongst the hype. Which gives me a bit of strength when standing up for those views in less echo chamber spaces. But I agree, the takes can get old fast.

Plus, you leave space for the artist to translate your idea and bring their own genius to it. Rather than imposing the crowdsourced version on their brain before they have a chance to think. That's how you get something 10X better than what you could do alone, even if you 'can draw'.

Feels like a lot of this thinking is geared towards needing shiny proof of concepts to win over (unimaginative) investors/management, rather than what creative people actually need to make something brilliant. Which isn't a lot!

Kick Ass in a little cinema in Nicaragua - audience cheering and booing every fight scene! (So, most of the movie...) And seeing American Pie with a big gang of friends - being underage added to the fun, we were so proud of passing for teenagers 😆

Yes! You can also borrow/request their books from your local library if they're eligible. Not a huge financial benefit, but encourages library networks to order copies, and maybe recommend to other readers. Every little helps.

Is he trying to feed SF novelists so many dystopian concepts that they cave and use AI to write them all?
