Elon's little serfs are quite literally begging journalists to come back because every publicly available source of data shows people have fled the platform and young people won't use it.

They are literally begging regular people to come back. Don't do it! It is a website by and for actual Nazis!

I’m from the RGV and I’m genuinely not sure I’ve ever been so deeply offended on Al Gore’s internet.

Mayo with enchiladas is a hate crime and I will not be taking questions. 🤢
White genocide is the local fent house being bulldozed for a Mexican restaurant

White genocide is when they don't serve mayo with the enchiladas
White genocide is when a neighbor has a weird name.

White genocide is when you hear a new language for the first time and don't understand it.

White genocide is when the girl who ghosted you, after you generously offered to breed her, starts posting Insta pics of her new favorite ethnic cuisine.

It’s 11:26 and OU still sucks.

(Texas is on some shit too, but this is amazingly boneheaded of Oklahoma.)
From the Oklahoma U student paper: the school is now saying it will automatically suspend faculty (with pay) in response to student complaints

I think this is probably a new era of grand jury practice where there is communal awareness of abusive policing.

The GJ just doesn't believe the state.

I'm not an expert on the history of grand juries, but my sense is that this is the first time we are seeing that phenomenon at scale.
JUST IN: Assistant U.S. Attorney Jeffrey Snell just confirmed, at the prodding of U.S. Magistrate Judge Keri Holleb Hotaling, that this motion for dismissal followed a "no bill" from a grand jury.

That means the grand jury refused to indict.
U.S. prosecutors in Chicago are dropping another case tied to Operation Midway Blitz, "without prejudice."

It's USA v. Nathan Griffin. Below is the motion, followed by excerpts from the complaint.

The feds don't say why they're dropping it, but they had until today to secure an indictment.

Just heard Pete Davidson and another man on a podcast say they disliked some past partners so much, they refused to let them go bc they didn’t want them to find someone who actually liked them and would treat them right. Also, they weren’t done extracting value from them. So, yeah

The level of entitlement here given the legendarily unethical journalism she’s been practicing is cuckoo banana pants.

Like sure, let’s blame this botched rollout on “plummeting literacy.” Nothing else to see here at all!

NEW: President Trump has repeatedly threatened to bring federal agents, or even soldiers, to San Francisco to battle crime. His administration has actually done the opposite, quietly taking federal law enforcement away from the city to do immigration work instead.

I read a blog post from Grace Atwood about evolving style (she’s a millennial) and one of her Gen Z assistants was helping her adopt more new silhouettes. In the process, she said, “I think your generation (millennials) is really focused on looking smaller, when mine is not.”

In normal democracy terms, we've in bad shape and things are getting worse.

In consolidated authoritarianism terms, we're doing pretty well, as the regime is haphazard, meeting resistance, and growing increasingly unpopular.

Depends on one's perspective. I started using the latter standard in Jan.
It is good to see the pushback on Trump lead to real losses for him. But it's hard to be optimistic when he still wields the enormous power of the presidency. ICE is still rampaging, HHS is harming people, the U.S. may be about to sell out Ukraine, the boat strikes...he's still doing so much damage.
