Without the EU cover, I think this is also likely the end (for the moment anyway) of the Irish Minister for Justice’s plan to require software companies and platforms to break encryption.

Though he may not issue a press release to say so.

Got an email from Amazon to be part of their invite only "Brands of Ireland" campaign which apparently aims to help businesses for Black Friday, Christmas etc. Sounds nice but Amazon is a killer of small businesses and they can fuck Black Friday. Buy independent and buy local when you can.

Well, the issues that we know of, but I hear ya. Bertie seemed very assured that he was 'good to go', but I also think that he doesn't live in the real world. Definitely not in this digital world. I can only imagine the gems that are still uncovered in his background. Never mind the hubris!

Speaking in the Dáil today, Simon Harris said the activists were trying to do something about the "humanitarian catastrophe and genocide" in Gaza and that they posed "no threat".

He denounced their detention as illegal.

Budget 2026 has come under fire in the Dáil, with Sinn Féin leader Mary Lou McDonald accusing the Government of breaking pre-election promises.

The Taoiseach defended the budget’s measures, including the reduced VAT rate for hospitality, insisting they protect workers.

In my new podcast, we're traveling to a quiet road in rural Wisconsin that’s become infamous for dozens of sightings—stretching back decades—of a strange creature known as the Beast of Bray Road. The entity has become one of America's most enduring cryptid stories.

It’s my STRANGEST podcast yet! 🎧👹
