i don’t think the intention of noting the victim’s citizenship is to imply that one life is more valuable, but rather to shake anyone out of complacency and apathy if they assumed their passport would shield them from the violence and brutality of their own government

This is a CBP report from February 2013 stating that Border Patrol Agents were found to be stepping into the path of vehicles of fleeing suspects to justify shooting at them. They have a history of the practice. Thanks to Mr. Global on Tiktok for bringing this to my attention.

I hope all demonstrations were peaceful and no one was hurt or arrested. I wasn't able to make it to one today. I'm so disappointed in my arthritic spine. Best wishes to all fighting this corrupt cruel regime. We can't let up against these masked thugs and tyrants on our streets.
