Do privacy concerns inhibit political posting on social media? Yes, but. We examine FB, X & Insta in 🇺🇸🇬🇧🇫🇷🇨🇦 and find that highly politically interested users discount privacy concerns and seek large audiences.

My newest piece in the Conversation. I find that in the UK, those on the right are more likely to boycott because of Trump’s tariffs. In Canada and France, those on the right and left boycotted US products, services and travel.

Can social media use reduce prejudice? This study finds that "social connectedness in nonpolitical groups was associated with diminished blatant prejudice and lower levels of global prejudice, a measure that includes both subtle and blatant components."
