In these heavy times, raising my autistic 10 yr old anchors me in so many ways: yes she doesn’t sleep before 10:30 but just now we both were marveling at the moon and she said earnestly that it’s beautiful and it’s “art, moon art,” as if it’s the first time she saw it. She knows enchantment.
