✍️ WIP: Blessed is the Link | Blessed is the Sync
Fenrir longs for a return to his glory days, but that would mean a pardon by the Church and, even more improbable, Fenrir forgiving himself for his own grave crimes. He is lost in a limbo of pain, adrift and without purpose.

Blessed is the Rot, coming January 13.

But Fenrir is a shell of a man. Before his fall from grace, he was Ashtin Broodfell, an exceptionally skilled surveyor who lost everything when he defied the Church he once served.

The Church is composed of the clergyfolk, the more theoretical branch, and the surveyors, the more practical branch. Both work toward combating the non-Euclidean and maintaining the blessed Rot of the Link.

Blessed is the Rot, a dark science fantasy novel, coming January 13.

The Old World is a haunted place, but it is kept intact, shrouded by a sarcophagus of rock and dirt, so that it may serve as a reminder of humanity’s past mistakes.

Blessed is the Rot—coming January 13.

Drawing by Chaim Holtjer.

But Simetria is not all there ever was. It was constructed on the bones of the Old World, a city still brimming with now-rotting synthetics that the Bygones lusted after.

Simetria follows the specifications for harmonious spaces as outlined in the Axioms of the Euclidean. That is, it displays holy symmetry in an effort to keep the non-Euclidean at bay.

It turns out they’re the same size as my novels (5.5x8.5”) which means they look lovely hanging out next to them on my shelf 😎

This is for more high-level feedback. Plot holes. Consistency. Pacing. I do two rounds of beta reading—first with folks who do it for free (other writers in a tit for tat fashion) and then with paid betas that I trust and have worked with before. Got to be careful with all the AI nonsense nowadays.

Music to my ears!

Awesome! I hope you enjoy the novel as much as “Wireworks”. (Hint: There will be a novel directly related to “Wireworks”, but that will be out in 1.5 years or so)
