1. This picture is taken from my monthly statement. That sentence explains what my health insurance premium would be if not for subsidies expanded during the pandemic. That “Advance Premium Tax Credit” is what everyone’s talking about. If the Republicans do not renew it, my premium will double.

Lifelong Steelers fan here! 🙋🏼‍♀️ I was so mad we didn’t go for it on 4th down that I turned off the game and left the room. Then I monitored the last drive on the ESPN gamecast because I’m still a sicko. Just because our team won, doesn’t mean that was the right call on 4th down!

A must-read essay for this moment by @olufemiotaiwo.bsky.social. I think a lot about shame as a therapist; toxic shame (e.g., "I am inherently bad and helpless to change that"), is not the same as experiencing shame for harmful behaviors that undermine a pluralistic society.

As CNN offers daylong saturation coverage of the podcaster’s funeral, I went back and checked to see how CNN covered Melissa Hortman’s memorial on 6/28, where Walz spoke and Biden/Harris attended.

It got about four minutes during the hours it was happening—less than Jeff Bezos’s wedding that day.

The only person that was prosecuted in the Epstein case is Maxwell. So does CNN think no one else was involved because no one else was ever prosecuted? The survivors have named many people over the years.
