It is great to be in Paris on the 10th anniversary of the Paris Agreement. In a special reception at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the French government emphasised their support for science & scientists. It is an absolute honour to be here with more than 600 of the top researchers in the world!

The goal is to provide an assessment on the current state of climate science, climate change impacts, and strategies for mitigation and adaptation. The challenge is to ensure that the most robust scientific information is available for climate policies.

Stronger labour protections policies are required. Worker empowerment is key to better protect worker health, incomes, profits, & inclusive growth.

We will be co-creating recommendations for stronger worker protection actions.
