Unexpected candour:

As Birmingham City Council's call to DfT to be allowed to set a default 20mph signed at the city boundaries gets media attention, we are pleased to see our position being featured. "Setting 20mph as a survivable default urban/village limit and excepting up" is becoming recognised as best practice.
