Of the 4000 researchers at NIH, only 20% are tenured. They’re going to fire all the rest as their contracts come up for renewal, absolutely decimating research at the NIH. This is catastrophic, not just for Americans, but for the whole world.

X has ~18m daily USA users. @bsky.app, ~1.5m.

Is it worth 20 MINS a day to proactively recruit and bring your friends, neighbors, relatives, businesses, anyone who is or could be a user, to @bsky.app?

If Bluesky ends up with more users than the others, you destabilize musk, zuck, trump.

We possess the technology to create products that nearly never break. We were doing it in the 70's & 80's.

Then came 'planned obsolescence' - intentionally designing products to become obsolete or break quickly within a set time frame.

This is that- but in reverse.

At the beginning of this year, I made a resolution to consistently hit the gym for no less than 3 days a week. Pretty realistic goal I would say.

I am proud to announce that I have successfully committed myself to exercising at the gym at least 197 times this year!

I was playing with Grok 2. I wanted to see what it could do.
I asked it to create a meme it thought could go viral, giving Trump a hard time for not keeping his promise to cut grocery prices. It was ok. Then I asked it to go dark. It’s response wasn’t what I expected lol

Have you ever noticed that some desktop computers have a graphics card with an extra slot underneath that appears unused?

Cycle of Life

A cell divides, its spark anew,
A tender life begins to brew.
From single thread, a story spun,
A quiet echo of the sun.

A star collapses, its light released,
A blaze of glory, life’s great feast.
From dying core, new worlds arise,
A cosmic birth within demise.
