They shouldn't feel good. Angry, sad, appalled, disgusted, even horrified -- but not good. The fact that the current political map is improving for the midterms isn't the point. Yes, they should feel some hope there, but the damage from this presidency continues to escalate.

Wearing a mask is a cheap, easy way to reduce pressure on the health service during peak flu seasons. In some parts of the world, like Japan, it's normal. I was hoping it would become normal here too, after Covid. But the fascists made it part of their stupid culture war.

They will already know. I suspect part of the test is that if you don't declare a soc med account that they know you have you'll get barred for lying about it.
