Pinned post! I want to tell you a little bit about me, what won’t fit in a bio.

This is true, but during a lot of his writing periods there were paper shortages as well, so sometimes the need to use whatever was at hand was even more acute.

I think we have to seriously consider that this government may be shutdown permanently. Until we get a new one.

In the dawn of time I had long hair and wore a trenchcoat in the winter. One of my work colleagues called me Silent Bob. The Dibs part comes from abbreviating my bachelor name. SilentDibs was my handle for the Gmail beta, back when you had to get invited.

explain your username:

short version: it’s my author pen name

long version: I was going by the initials “CM” on a message board for writers, because it stood for “Chicken Mafia.” People knew me as CM and then suddenly I needed a real name for human interaction purposes.

explain your username:

I started going by “Miss Kitty Fantastico” online when I started watching Buffy The Vampire Slayer as a teenager, but that was often too longer for a username on a lot of sites, so I shortened it to “misskittyf.” It’s stuck for nearly 20 years now.

I mean, it wouldn’t be Cataclysm if we didn’t sell you the rope…

The game’s framework is much simpler than that and we actually abstracted out most of the economy. However if you are a Hawk power you can commit Force to conflicts - but failure creates Disorder at home. You can suppress it but if it boils over the result is catastrophic.

People. He’s just going to do it. Like every other illegal thing he is doing right now. The justification will never matter.

Trump is looking at 2028 and he has to figure out, how does he circumvent or avoid the rule that he can't run again. I think one of the ways he's going to do that is to create what's perceived to be a real crisis in America."

CATACLYSM: NEW WORLD ORDER (1990-2049), even higher scale and much faster playing than its older cousin. The UK disk is a “regional power” which costs the EU a VP for existing independently in its homeland. The meeple is an EU “Force”.

Some tweaks from testing, some rules tightening… I think we have to learn to play the game better 😅 we are making low-risk moves instead of fighting the most important threats. 2P remains quite fun, but I want to play more multi.
