The town of Salò on the shores of Lake Garda has formally revoked the honorary citizenship granted to Benito Mussolini in 1924. This is of great symbolic importance as Salò was the unofficial capital of Mussolini's Italian Social Republic from 1943 to 1945.

Yesterday I hadn’t run for five days as I’d not been feeling right. I slowly put my kit on, then, more slowly, I changed back again. I spent half the day annoyed at myself and half proud I’d listened to my body. We shall see what today brings. #Running

Apparently it was foggy on the ground. Before we began our descent, the pilot asked us to turn off all electronic devices and suggested we might want to give the ‘what to do in an emergency’ cards a quick shufti.
