Shout out to @michaelpdivita.bsky.social! Carmel could definitely learn something from South Bend.

The Carmel "Housing Commission" is actively looking for examples and experts who have solved "missing middle".

South Bend seems like a great example to follow.

We need robust public transit for Carmel to grow efficiently in the coming decades. Even if it isn't perfect from the start.

I agree. There's definitely a risk and who knows how it plays out in 100 years... but today, my family is enjoying walking and biking everywhere in Carmel thanks to these investments.

Unfortunately no, they are currently having three design firms compete: Browning Day, Ratio Design and Yard & Co.

Regardless, we will still be advocating for similar concepts!
