I used to go there all the time, especially since I live so close.. I think I need to plan another trip soon.

I know I should be getting ready for bed, to maintain my schedule. But I just... I don't want to shut my eyes; the idea of today replaying in my brain when there's nothing but darkness and silence around me is terrifying. For the first time since childhood, I may have to sleep with the lights on.

(n.b.: the people they have abducted are OVERWHELMINGLY not criminals, and the "criminals" they put on their big "look at all these CRIMINALS" we arrested list includes a bunch of people with speeding tickets, and even if you're a criminal you are entitled to due process.)

I will note that they have in fact arrested a couple of people who committed serious crimes. This is not a risk-free offer, but it's a risk I would personally take on with joy and zero hesitation if it got ICE the FUCK out of my state.

But I think that's part of what they want - to goad us into a violent reaction. Then they can mow us down and claim it was justified. We must not fall for that.
