Betty says that sometimes I have a 'far-away look' in my eyes.
It doesn't make sense to me but I suppose she knows what she's talking about.
Does it make sense to you?

Thank you Auntie Rachel for another lovely photo.

One of the humans at the allotments made this picture of me.
She didn't do it with a camera, she drew it herself.
I didn't even know that humans did things like that.
They are very clever, aren't they?

#RecipeOfTheDay is Carbonnade à la Flamande, a gorgeous Belgian beef and beer casserole that should be eaten with chips/fries but I like it with thick noodles! Like all stews, this is best made a day (or two) ahead. www.nigella.com/recipes/carb...
Carbonnade a La Flamande
There is something about cooking the classics that feels like coming home and this comforting Belgian casserole is a reassuringly simple recipe — I scarcely bother to sear the meat — that feeds a huge...

The UK Government’s decision to include Berwick Bank in the Contracts for Difference scheme is a disaster for Scotland’s seabirds.

Killing tens of thousands of these incredible birds isn’t just reckless, it could push many species towards extinction.

Auntie Rachel says she is coming to look after the Memorial Garden but I think she is really coming to keep me company.
She sits with me in the veranda and we have lots of cuddles.
She always takes lovely photos of me.
I feel so sorry for cats who don't have special humans in their lives.

Friends! In the Winter, my morning routine is very different to the Summer. I tend to want an Early Breakfast, then a Second Breakfast, then I disappear upstairs to snooze with Dad. Mum stays downstairs to do her work. She used to do that in Peace. Now, she does it with this going on around her!

Do you remember the Selfies I used to take?
They were hopeless so I gave up.
Uncle Andy is good at doing Selfies.
Do you think I should try again or just leave it to humans who know what they are doing?

Do you remember Mary and Terri, the two kittens who were here for a short time two years ago?
Cats Protection helped us to rehome them and they settled down straight away in their lovely new home.
Their humans sent us these photos.
Their names are Trouble and Squeak now.

Yes Amanda, I do remember them.
They were extremely lively kittens, here, there and everywhere! Absolutely Full of Beans!

Quite a shock for your quiet life on the Allotments!

They needed a proper home and that is what they have now.
‘Helping’ with the decorations it would seem.

Lovely photos!

We've had a little bit of snow here.
I know some humans don't like it but it doesn't bother me.
I've been an outdoor cat all my life and I'm used to all kinds of weather.
I've got my nice warm bed in the greenhouse so I'm not complaining.
Would you like to live outdoors all the year round?
