And to be clear this has been going on for some time. There are many segments of the party doing serious, strategic work.
"Twenty-three Democratic attorneys general now gather on near-daily Zoom calls at 8 AM Pacific, which means the East Coast officials are already on their third coffee. They divide responsibilities and share templates for lawsuits they’ve been drafting since last spring."
It’s Time for Americans to Start Talking About “Soft Secession”
Blue states are finally learning what red states have known all along: you don’t need federal permission to govern.

t took six months for a Trump official to be politely forced by a journalist to admit live on air what everyone - including every economist - knows to be true (but which Trump keeps lying about): tariffs are paid in the US by US importers.

What an indictment of our media.
"So the tariff is paid in this country by the importer, is that right?" -- Eugene Robinson guides Scott Bessent into acknowledging that tariffs are in fact paid in the United States, not by foreign governments

Here's the truth about tax cuts for the rich.

They explode the federal debt, fuel giant profits at the biggest firms and financial institutions, and stoke a surge in billionaire wealth but do nothing for average working people.

Nothing trickles down — and the tax cuts don't "pay for themselves."
You’ve seen this movie before: Maybe Reagan guessed, Bush hoped, and Trump tried—but tax cuts never paid for themselves. Given the mountain of evidence, claiming once again that "tax cuts will pay for themselves" is no longer ideologically motivated optimism.

It's a lie.

@nicollewallace.bsky.social Hi Nicolle. Thank you for all you do. Is there any way you can post the segment of your show today of the family of the women in New Orleans taken by the regime thugs.? Their story needs to be shared. I’m trying to deal with my outrage. I appreciate you and will fight!

Not to state the obvious, but none of them were sent to a terrorist prison in El Salvador. They all had lawyers, indictment by grand jury, a trial or a guilty plea where a judge ensured it was knowing & voluntary & access to an appeals process. In other words, all the hallmarks of due process.

Not a single word to help the 33m small businesses in this country. Not from anyone in the administration.

So many buy from China, and don't have alternatives.

So many didn't have the cash to front run the tariffs and buy inventory

Good morning.

Today is the 80th day that the U.S. President is running a backdoor bribery scheme in which any CEO or foreign oligarch can send him money secretly through his crypto coin scam in exchange for favors.

It's the biggest scandal in the history of the Presidency.

So we could lose $200B in tourism, $100B in immigrants paying taxes, $100B in weapons manufacturing, $500B in lost tax revenue from firing IRS employees… is it sinking in yet?
International tourism is worth $200 billion every year to the US economy.

Sorry, *was.

This is what tyrants like Erdogan do- they kidnap people off the street and disappear them. We are now an authoritarian state like Turkey.
Not sure if this has been shared here yet, but this is video of Rumeysa Ozturk's arrest posted by WCVB. It's terrifying.

That’s extortion.

@johnfetterman.com as a constituent with deep concerns for our country, democracy, and your worrisome, recent statements and opinions - I’m asking that you hold a town hall so we can hear from you and ask questions. Calling your office is a joke, and frankly, it feels like insubordination.
