Heavy Conversation - Gator Days
Panel 1 Daryl is feeling insecure and begins discussing his weight with Seth. Seth is used to these types of conversations and keeps the majority of his attention on the work he's doing on his laptop. Daryl: I think I've put on weight. Would you still love me if I gained 100 pounds. Seth: Yes. Panel 2 Daryl is not satisfied with this answer. He begins to construct another situation. Seth sets a timer on his phone see how long this conversation goes. Daryl: Maybe you just like fat guys. Would you love if I lost 100? Seth: Yes. Panel 3 The true source of Daryl's insecurity rises to the surface. Seth can tell that this is the actual core of Daryl's concerns and gives him his full attention. Daryl: What if I got sick and couldn't take care of myself. Seth: I'll always love you. Panel 4 Daryl is satisfied but needs to construct another scenario. Daryl: And if I finished the ice cream? Seth: Divorce. Seth pulls out his credit card and begins to order ice cream.

YGO's pace is different from most TCGs. Interactions happen within a few turns rather than across many turns, largely due to hand traps.

The game is complex and nuanced, and that's *why* people enjoy it. It's not meant to be simple or relaxed. It's engaging and provocative.

So a little over a just a week ago my family lost one of our dogs, Butter.
It hit me hard has he’s been in my life since middle school and it happened so suddenly during an already stressful time for me.

He lived to the ripe old age of 13 and I’m just glad to have something that immortalizes him

Seth is prepared for this moment. Having struggled with many a jar, he knows a vast variety of tips to help his daughter learn how to open these jars if she runs into this problem again. Panel 3 Seth is ready to tackle this problem! He is ready to impart wisdom! He's ready to be a good father! Seth: This is your chance to gain self-reliance and- Hannah: Papa, can you open this? Panel 4 Daryl has arrived home and immediately opens the jar. Daryl: No problem. Hannah: Thanks, Papa. Seth gasps. He's shocked at this turn of events! It's okay, he will soon forget all his worries when he gets some of the special treat in that jar. It seems to be pickled chocolate. Who can be upset about open jars when they have pickled chocolate?

In Diddy Kong Racing DS, the message when connection is lost during Download Play is "LOST ALL CHILDREN". The cartridge is internally called a "parent" and the downloaded instances its "children". While this would make sense to the developers, it has the potential to confuse or scare players.
