I like the idea of the morris gods but the designs and characterisation were so on the nose. I want to see more characters with the force who are actually likeable and fun to watch. Ahsoka is not that imo.

But the Sabine stuff was just bonkers imo. Talk about a hat on a hat - and he really doesn’t seem to mind undermining the idea of Luke as the last Jedi (which should be foundational).

I’d be more ok with it if it wasn’t such a literal design but yeah it’s a bit dodge. I would be down for a netherworld of the force though (from someone else). Part of the issue for me is he apprentices under latter era George and that is my least favourite brand of SW.

He’s just not my cuppa

And imo he’s definitely the one who “breaks the lore” the most.

Yeah, clearly he has a lot of fans and that’s great but of all the SW creators he’s my least favourite

At one point Michael Flatley (playing retired spy Victor Blackley) takes off one jauntily angled hat only to be handed another. This to me is cinema.

Interesting - I loved everything with the creature. I wondered if missing the “bride” subplot makes it feel so abrupt.

Same. It gets to the wedding and then it hurtles to end and it feels like it’s missing something.
