Think modern right wing culture, especially the American version, is so rooted in insecurity it can only snipe and has no positive vision to create.
This seems true now but there's too many actually good reactionary artists for it to be a general truth. The Old Man and the Sea is a banger!
the primary reason rightwingers will never control culture is because everything they do is hinged upon it being a reaction to the broader culture. the TPUSA half time event would not exist without it being a representation of their grievences

Happy birthday to John Williams, now 94!

As ever, the truth is absolutely bad enough there is no need to make stuff up and it devalues the impact of what actually happened.
Similarly, I keep seeing fake claims about Epstein and Farage that are demonstrably false. Yes, Farage is mentioned 40 times but the files are quickly and easily searchable (www.justice.gov/epstein). Why not take five seconds to do that before spreading disinformation?

Existing safeguards don’t work; we need preventative measures for AI.

The chatbot still produces sexualized images —

even when told the subjects don’t consent.

even when told the photos will be used for public humiliation.

even when told the subjects are survivors of abuse.

Exclusive: Despite new curbs, Elon Musk’s Grok at times produces sexualized images - even when told subjects didn’t consent
Elon Musk’s flagship artificial intelligence chatbot, Grok, continues to generate sexualized images of people even when users explicitly warn that the subjects do not consent, Reuters has found.

This is my view. Luckily point 2 really matters.
1. Trump certainly wants to fully rig elections.
2. He has no actual plausible plan to do so.
3. We should absolutely take the threat very seriously and actively do what's possible to protect elections and democracy.
4. What's actually likely is success or failure at the margins; every bit counts.
The last time he started talking like this, his allies minimized the risks and we ended up with January 6. This time we must take him literally and seriously. These comments are a five-alarm fire for democracy. In a functioning republic, he would be impeached and removed from office today.

The fact this has become a thing is a good example of the intellectual descent of the right into their equivalents of the anti-bedtime left.
The weirdest conspiracy theory of all is that 15 minute city thing. Why would anyone not want 15 minute cities? I mean you can still live in the countryside if you want but all villages, towns and cities should have amenities within 15 mins.

OK, so Musk was planning to go to Epstein's island, but it's not like he went there with the intent to go to a wild party or something, it was probably just some business. Excuse me, an email just came in.
