We’re at the long pause, when the pendulum appears frozen in place

Soon it will swing the other way, accelerating towards the center

When it passes and reaches the far heights, we need to nail that fucker in place

Today I learned Microsoft is offering file classification ranging from public to just shy of classified to lull the lawyers into letting AI read every attachment and I must now choose the classification level for every Office365 Copilot Azure via Okta document of any type, possibly including emails?

At least once a month a stranger comes to our house and gives us bags of food yet my dog continues to see this as an assault on our family worthy of the death penalty

That’s where the medbeds are. Can’t have people recording motorcades to Walter Reed, and Marine One flights to Bethesda are super obvious too, so convert several MAL hotel rooms to a medical suite and voila

Jfc rn I am very, very just totally, totally, totally troubled by our leadership
Press call with Chuck Schumer says he has been talking with his caucus "I've been talking to so many members of my caucus today. Everybody is very, very just totally, totally, totally troubled."

Times like these I’m reminded how bad Schumer and Jeffries suck at this

Yet those two will be the yahoos putting the brakes on accountability after the midterms

It’s so painfully obvious these are not the leaders we need to ensure the accountability we demand

The greatest teacher in all of evolutionary history is pain. The ability to perceive it, and the desire to avoid it, is something these machines will never have. There is no magic architecture of silicon and software that will gives these things the ability to FEEL

We have American problems which require American solutions. Some will be trivial, some will require us to remember the great undertakings of our past. We can, we have – we will – do great things. It takes but a leader to arouse the patriotic spirit.
It's striking that progressives like Tim Walz and Zohran Mamdani evoke the middle American attitude that, "Yes, we can fix these social problems because we're Americans and it's the right thing to do!" While the "America first" right only emulates failed and failing nation-states elsewhere.
